Today we learn and practice Carrying the Moon. Carrying the Moon is wonderful exercise that keeps the spine flexible and strong: a key to longevity according to traditional Chinese thought.
Skip this session if you have major back problems and your doctor has advised not to bend the spine. Practice another exercise that you've learned instead.
Otherwise, keep this exercise gentle and enjoyable and don't over bend. Play close attention to the advice to straighten the body before lowering the arms.
